Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of REEL AI Film Studio.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Using REEL
By creating an account or using REEL, you agree to these Terms. You must use REEL lawfully and only if you can enter into this agreement. If you use REEL for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Your account and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password and session access confidential. Notify support promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Do not share accounts or attempt to bypass access controls.
Your content and AI-assisted output
You retain responsibility for the scripts, audio, images, prompts, project data, and other material you upload or enter into REEL. You confirm that you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to use that material and that it does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.
REEL may use automated and AI-assisted processes to organise or transform your inputs where those features are available. Generated media can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing, sharing, distributing, or relying on it, including checking rights, permissions, attribution, safety, and suitability.
Acceptable use
Do not use REEL to create, upload, request, or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, exploitative, abusive, hateful, or privacy-violating content. Do not impersonate people, use another person's likeness or voice without permission, introduce malware, probe or disrupt the service, scrape protected data, or try to access another user's account, project, or media.
Intellectual property
REEL, its software, branding, and service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. Your rights in your inputs and any output depend on applicable law and any rights held by third parties; REEL does not guarantee that any output is unique, copyrightable, or clear for commercial use.
Subscriptions and billing
Where paid plans are offered, payment processing is handled by Stripe. REEL does not receive or store card numbers or CVC values. Plan availability, prices, allowances, renewal dates, cancellation settings, and billing status are shown in the Billing area when configured. You authorise recurring charges for an active subscription until cancellation takes effect. You are responsible for cancelling through the available Stripe Billing Portal before renewal if you do not want to renew. Failed payments may be retried by Stripe under its current billing configuration, and access may be restricted while payment remains unpaid. Overage or additional-credit charging will not be activated unless it is clearly offered and accepted.
Plan changes are managed through the available Stripe Billing Portal. Any proration, credit, timing, or billing adjustment follows the actual Stripe behaviour shown before confirmation. A plan change does not refund a previous plan or reset, duplicate, or convert already-consumed usage into cash. Unused allowance has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot normally be converted into a refund. Refunds are only considered in the limited circumstances in the Payment, Upgrade, Cancellation & Refund Policy; nothing limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability, changes, and termination
REEL may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain, secure, improve, or comply with legal obligations. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, the service is being abused, payment is not received, or access creates a security or legal risk. You may stop using REEL at any time. Please export or retain material you need before closing an account or deleting a project.
Disclaimers and liability
REEL is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, REEL does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific results, or that generated output will meet your needs. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, REEL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with its update date. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the support channel shown on the Support page.
