Privacy Policy
This policy explains how REEL AI Film Studio handles personal and project data.

Information REEL handles
REEL processes account information such as your email address, password hash, and account identifiers. It also processes project information and the content you choose to provide, including scripts, lyrics, prompts, audio, images, reference material, storyboards, generated media, and related metadata such as file type, size, duration, and creation time.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, provide and secure the service, store and retrieve your projects, process requested workflows, maintain billing records, diagnose issues, and improve service reliability. We do not use your private project content as public marketing material without your permission.
Cookies and sessions
REEL uses an HTTP-only, signed session cookie to keep you authenticated. The cookie is used for account access and is not intended for advertising. Your browser may provide its own controls for deleting or blocking cookies, but doing so can prevent sign-in and other protected features from working.
Sharing and access
REEL does not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only where necessary for hosting, storage, payment processing, security, and support. Project and asset access is scoped to the authenticated account. We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect users, the service, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Retention and deletion
We retain account, project, asset, billing, and security information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Deleting a project or closing an account may remove active records, while limited information can remain in backups or records where retention is necessary. Contact support to request account-data deletion or to ask about a specific retention request.
Security
REEL uses access controls, private object storage, signed session cookies, and server-side secret handling designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep your credentials confidential and report suspected account compromise promptly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also manage available projects through the service. To make a privacy request, use the contact route on the Support page. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as REEL changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the current version here with its update date.
