Select with the whole film in mind
The most visually striking version is not always the best fit. Choose the shot that communicates the intended action and connects with the sequence around it. Look for consistent identity, framing and lighting, then consider how the viewer’s attention moves between shots.
Review order and timing
The storyboard defines the sequence you are assembling. Establish context before showing a small detail that depends on it. Give important reactions enough space to register. In REEL, Timeline lets you review selected private shot versions in storyboard order. It is a review stage; it does not itself export a finished film.
Understand the audio source
For a Music Video, the uploaded source song is used as the final audio across the assembled film. Individual visual clips and the final output are different assets. Make sure the visual sequence supports the music, and use audio you have permission to upload and use.
Create the final production
Once the required shots have selected completed versions, use Final Production to assemble one MP4. A render captures the selected inputs at that point in time. If you later replace a shot, create a new render to include that selection; an earlier completed output remains a historical version.
Watch before delivery
Play the final MP4 from beginning to end. Check for visual jumps, missing shots, unexpected audio and an ending that feels intentional. Download the result and check it in the player or device your audience will use. A completed render confirms an output was produced; watching it is still an essential creative quality check.
Put the plan into practice.
